We are a young, dynamic and newly installed clinic in Montreal working in the field of gastroenterology.
This specialty deals with problems related to the digestive tube and its glands namely: the esophagus, the stomach, the small intestine, the colon, the liver, the gallbladder and the pancreas.
We want to give a triple mission:
- Firstly, an oriented prevention: consisting mainly in the detection of colon cancer ( colorectal cancer ) known as the 3rd most common cause of cancer in men and women. Through this activity we perform the colonoscopy screening, colonoscopy diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopy in which we are able to make the removal of polyps.
- An oriented treatment for all your problems on the sphere of gastroenterology.
- An oriented follow-up of patients with chronic digestive condition,who require specialized and regular check-ups.
Our consultation service in gastroenterology is covered by the RAMQ. Our endoscopic examination (colonoscopy, gastroscopy) can be offered to you through personalized, fast and affordable service in our clinic. Sedation expenses are only required during endoscopic examinations.
Doctor Jaimes S. Benhamron has served at the Verdun Hospital of Montreal from 1985 to 2010, where he was chief of Gastroenterology between 1989 and 2000. He has also been a member of various GI departments in hospitals like St Joseph de Lachine, from 1987 to 1995, and Cite de la Santé de Laval, from 2001 to 2004. He opened his own Clinic of Gastroenterology in 2008. Having acquired a 25 years experience in endoscopic procedures, Doctor Jaimes S. Benhamron received his medical diploma from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Montreal (1980). He has also been certified from the Royal College of Canada in Internal Medicine (1984) and in Gastroenterology (1985). |
